1. Educational Qualification (as on 01.01.2026)
Candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University as on or before the cut-off date (01.01.2026)
2.Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
The candidate's age must be 18-23 years as of 01.01.2026

Computer Based Examination (CBE) Details
- Mode:
Objective Multiple-Choice Type.

The exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 Regional Languages.

💻 How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online only
One-Time Registration (OTR): If you haven't already, complete your OTR on the new SSC website:
https://ssc.gov.in . The old OTR is not functional . Apply Online: Log in and fill the Online Application Form for the Constable (GD) Examination. You can apply either via the website or through the 'mySSC' mobile application
. Real-Time Photo Capture: The module captures a real-time photograph (no cap, mask, or glasses/spectacles) while filling out the form. Do not upload a pre-existing photograph, as this will lead to rejection
. Fee Payment: A fee of ₹100/- is payable. Women candidates, SC/ST, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted

Critical Advice for Candidates
Domicile/PRC: As vacancies are State/UT-wise, candidates must produce a Domicile/Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) of the State/UT indicated in the Online Application Form at the time of Document Verification
. Force Preference: Filling all seven (07) preferences for CAPFs/Organizations is mandatory. Be extremely careful as no request for change in preference will be entertained after submission
. Aadhaar Authentication: Candidates are advised to opt for Aadhaar Based Authentication during OTR. If you do, your application will not be rejected for issues with the photograph and/or signature
