This 13-month long fellowship is an initiative by the SBI Foundation that provides India’s best young minds the opportunity to work on rural development projects across the country.

Key Benefits & Financial Support:
Monthly Stipend: ₹16,000 for living expenses.
Transport Allowance: ₹2,000 per month.
Project Allowance: ₹2,000 per month.
Learning Allowance: ₹1,000 per month for professional development.
Completion Grant: A readjustment allowance of ₹1,10,000 upon successful completion.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2026-27 batch, you must meet the following:
Age: Between 21 and 32 years (Born between August 4, 1994, and October 5, 2005).
Education: Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree (or be scheduled to complete it by October 4, 2026).
Nationality: Citizens of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or OCI/NRIs.
The Selection Process
The application is a two-stage process designed to find candidates aligned with the fellowship's mission:
Stage 1: Registration & Online Assessment You will fill out an initial application and answer preliminary questions. If shortlisted, you'll be asked to submit essays and a short reflective video.
Stage 2: Group Exercise & Personal Interview An in-person round involving group activities and an interview to assess your motivation and potential for rural development work.
